And then what happened to LA hip hop after Pac died and Death Row declined? Snoop went down south and Dre worked with out of town talent via inter scope. After Pac died LA hip hop declined until 50 cent a New York rapper out the Game on. Since Biggie died NY hip hop flourished and got bigger hell the south overshadowed LA hip hop up until DJ mustard brought it back so please get ya story straight. After Pac died LA hip hop was a none factor up until 2003.

Yea they were doing lil shyt but the tampa made members are like 70 + and they live legit lives now and are almost dead( they own most of ybor, the top steak houses , a big hotel on dalemabry,a country club in Carrollwood and a bunch of other stuff that their grand kids run)

Like you said, every city no matter if they’re small or mid-size has its own stories that are movie-worthy. There was some mini Game of Thrones shyt going on in Portsmouth, Norfolk, Newport News, Hampton, VA Beach back in the mid-90’s. 7 cities already beef with each other but are prideful about the region, then you throw in plugs from NYC, Miami Boys, and Jamaican posses and it got wild as fukk for minute. Portsmouth had one of the highest murders rates in the country around 94-96. I was in high school then.

The only part of ybor I fuk with is 7th ave where the clubs and restaurants areI've been here for about 1 1/2 years and ybor seems like a shythole compared to surrounding places. Still the safest place I've ever lived
The rest of ybor use to be the hood and is getting gentrified heavy, those big old historical homes are expensive and rent for those apts start at 1700....If you would of seen tampa like 13 years ago you would of never moved here
