I had my backwards compatible PS3 break twice. I gave up on it. My original PS1 and PS2 still works like a charm. I lose the convenience of playing everything on one console but screw it. :yeshrug:
I got rid of my ps2 once I got my ps3. I can't go back to ps2, nikka would need a multitap and all that other bullshyt. Got it fixed a couple last year from Craigslist dudes, shyt never lasted though. I need to just send that shyt back to Sony

I did the same thing. I found a craigslist guy that fixed it. It worked for a year and broke again. I took it to another guy who fixed it and it broke 6 months later. I took it apart myself and tried to fix it with no success. I'm actually looking into an HDMI splitter/hub and a component cable Splitter/hub to keep all of my systems hooked up and not have to deal with changing cables from system to system.
