I haven't seen anyone in Truckfit. but lately I'm finding myself at River Folks paying my mom's Macy bill and I stop by the African soap stand too, as I walk through I see about 3-4 dudes wearing Pelle Pelle they trying to bring t back it is it already back? I really hope not because they may as well bring Dada ,Phat Farm, & Platinum Fubu, & Baby Phat back too,

Hood nikkas in Houston swear by uglass Robin Jeans and Bally shoes I swear. Killa Kyleon even referenced it in a song something to the effect of "dope boy starter kit Robins and some Ballys". Now yes, me being a Houston nikka I do have a pair of Bally sneakers in the closet ( I wore them one time bout 3-4 years ago) but I wouldn't be caught dead in them tacky was Robin Jeans.

A lot of people in the H be on that designer wave though so you step out in the city you gone see damn near everything from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, to Dsquared2 and Balmain. Designer belts (ferragamo and Versace belts tend to be the favorites around here I myself favor the ferragamo belts with the big buckle) and designer shoes. I do indulge in some designer from time to time I love my burberry brit polos and swear by Gucci loafers/drivers when stepping out.


Timbs been the shyt around here for bout the last 4-5 years. Yes, you still got nikkas that rock Trus but them nikkas low-key getting clowned by the trendy crowd but stores still sellin True Religion and boys still buying it.

J's and white on white Af1 lows will forever be a Htown favorite but the sneaker market is wide open, we rock it all from Puma, adidas, air max, you name it you'll find nikkas with them on feet.

Other noteable brand's you see a lot of nikkas wearing on a daily basis Rock n Revival, PRPS, Nike, streetwise brand's like Pink Dolphin and Crooks and Castles, and of course the classic Polo and Levis.

Drake was wearing Nike ACG's in the Hotline Bling video how did he brings Timbs back? Timbs never really left there was a brief period where ACG's, Polo and Ugg boots were popping but people still wore Timbs.

Also, Chicago don't dress like ATL they dress like NY'ers did 5-6 years ago.

Pelle Pelle is not as dated as those brands and far more timeless. Dudes been wearing Pelles for like 30 years. They haven't gone anywhere in NYC, not as prevalent as they were a few years back but still one of the jackets of choice especially for goons.
