what they could do:

1.) Point out their shared values with the church going black population
2.) Stop being finger pointers. Being conservative doesn't mean you have to finger point. Fox News told you that. They don't own conservativism.
3.) Emphasize black independence and the negatives of some of the social programs that hurt adults.
4.) Champion alternative ways of reaching goals in the black community instead of just going with what works in the mainstream.
5.) Stop parroting white conservatives.
6.) create a true conservative black think-tank that studies benefits of conservative ideals for black americans.

The vast majority of WHITE conservatives dont benefit from the rhetoric and ideologies of the GOP... the GOP doesnt practice what it preaches 90% of the time... so whats the point in adopting ideologies that don't work and arent practiced by the people who tout them as America's solutions?
