Becuase its a beautiful Caribbean Island with tons of resorts and beach towns.
I would suggest you decide what kind of place weather wise you want o go to, what kind of vacation you wanna have and then and search the best places that match what you are looking for, watch some youtubers travel logs of those places etc.
Also nothing wrong with a resort vacation, they usually have great restaurants, in the clubs/bars you will find a lot of english speaking people, some have tours to local lagoona, rivers etc.
