What developers do you auto-buy new games from, no questions asked?

let’s say you haven’t even seen a single trailer, you just know a studio you love basically shadow dropped a new project and it’s not some dlc or small thing but a full scale project they’ve been working on in secret. which development studios get your full 60/70?

I would put Fromsoftware but that Night Reign game got me reconsidering as i don’t think I’m copping that

None. Look at Bethesda, Bungie, Treyarch, CD Projekt Red etc.

All these devs can switch up and drop duds and have a drop in quality regardless of their track record. Buying games just because of the developer is as foolish as pre-ordering at this point.

Honestly, none. Practically every dev team that has some skin in the game that I know of and am favored to has made a game or two that I had completely no interest in based on premise, gameplay, theme, etc. Just is what it is. All of those elements are what I look at first, before I look at who's making it. That part may garner some extra intrigue or brow raising, but if it's not for me, I'm still not going to bite. Sometimes, I'll go back and possibly give passed over games a try, based on good reception and whatnot. But more often than not, I'll just consider them past my time and move on.

If anything, I'm probably even more akin to blind buy based on publisher, but it still has to have the right aforementioned elements.

I don't really be knowing developers and publishers and shyt like that.

I do know that the Ghost of Yotei is going to be an auto cop. After that I kind of wait for reviews and check a couple gameplays out.

This. But it doesn't even have to be a dud for me to not check it out. If it's not my thing and I don't feel like venturing out the box or it's too far left field of my tastes, doesn't even matter how well received it is for me.
