The team didn't really seem to respect Mike Brown enough to give a fukk about what he was saying. I was surprised he got fired after only 5(?) games but I wasn't disappointed.

Really, the Lakers would be straight right now if they would have just traded Nash a long time ago. Gasol and Howard wasn't all that bad with Brown and Kobe was efficient as s**t then. The defense was but that because of a lack of athletic ability and Metta is terrible now.

I never denied that, shyt I might have been wrong. I'm not wrong that he was a terrible coach for this team. But nikkaz wanted him fired expecting Phil or at least a coach that could better work with the type of team this was. No one that fukks with the Lakers wanted fukkin mike dantoni.

He sure is, if he wants to keep playing after this contract it'd be nice just to see him get Kareem's record and maybe compete for one more ring with a more competitive team. But not at the cost of all that cap space, but Dr. Buss' health might just seal that fate anyway. Kobe and Mitch the final links to GOAT franchise's good times.

People keep ignoring the good year the lakers had last year and only compare this years small sample size under Mike Brown to D'Antoni. Why not compare winning % over their first 45-50 games. D'Antoni did a good job in Phoenix and because he knocked the Lakers out of the playoffs, their organization overrates his abilities. He was terrible in NY and is bad here as well.
