and when I think about it, I don't think there will ever be one. what a time to be alive :why:

Yeah people in general were more outgoing. People would be outside just to meet and interact with others. Meeting up and not flaking was expected. There was also a lot more mystery bc everybody wasnt putting their business out there all the time.
I miss this aspect of life, I miss when kicking it with your friends or s/o was meant to be a moment for y'all...now it's a moment for the camera. I get so annoyed at everyone always wanting to take pics to post...chill out and let's just enjoy the moment.

My god the way cameras have seeped into our lives is almost dystopian :heh:

At a concert? Whip out the camera

At the club? Whip out the camera

See an accident on the side of the road? Whip out the camera

Fight breaks out on the bus? Whip out the camera

On top of that the memory would stay. Things move so quicky now bc memories are digitized instead of memorized. Additionally, it's just too easy to learn a whole bunch about a person that isn't presented to you face to face. If I meet someone I can just go on their social media to figure out a lot about them. What are we even talking for? It's almost like skipping the magic and getting to everyday aspect of a relationship, shyt is backwards and lame bc then you don't learn how to interact properly with someone you don't know.

Well, there was this wonderful thing called "Outside"
REPPED!

YEs, outside, you know...that thing that's on the other side of your door, filled with trees, nature, and beautiful people.

Straight up, I've been using computers for 20+ years and I never once denied the value of real life interactions with people instead of technology.
