What did the E see in Ambrose to give him a shot?

I enjoyed him the most in the Shield and right after the Shield breakup when he wasn't so "wacky". His character can still be unhinged but not so crazy with the facial expressions. I'd also have him study punches of Bret, Savage, Jake, Funk, etc. The Ralphie punches just aren't getting it

Not really. Were most people here really huge fans of him? Most of us have acknowledged how both of the other Shield members have improved except for Ambrose.

When the fans chose him over everyone else, Roman included, nyggas here was c/s him.

His character is booked horribly. He should be in the prime Austin attitude era, causing random hell just because to see what happens phase. But instead he's just in a wacky have a potted plant named Mitch phase because for whatever reason WWE can't look at something that worked great & use it as a blueprint.

This! His punches are shyt and make me cringe every time he throws them. Bret's gotta be looking at them thinking "And they let Cody Rhodes go..."

His fall off from the Shield is remarkable. He's behind in and out of the ring by a considerable distance.

I actually think he fell off WHILE in The Shield and Seth and Roman were finding themselves and surpassing him tremendously and I saw signs of improvement in Seth and Roman whereas Dean seemed to be on a flat line or going downhill.

Remember his U.S. Championship reign? It was f_cking trash.

Which is crazy when you think about it because Roman started late training and Seth and Dean have been wrestling for YEARS.

Remember dudes were talking like he was the second coming I have yet to see it. He's not in Pillman's or Pipers league. He's so far off from them it's laughable now.

Not just Pillman, but he's been compared to EVERY Attitude Era legend and Jake "The Snake" Roberts and even Sting.

I even saw somebody say that he should take Stone Cold's finisher because they are "similar."

We never liked him. Rest of IWC does.

He's a few steps above Titus, Heath Slater, and Ryder to me, but he takes great bumps and has amazing specialty matches. I believe Rollins, Owens, Zayn, Neville, and Crews deserve more time than he does.

I am a casual indy watcher, and NEVER heard of Moxley or whatever.
