He was nothing more than a glorified white "And1" player, who was a turnover machine, had sorry defense with a inconsistent jumper. The Kings went on to be a lot better when they traded him. When he was with the Heat, he did nothing to contribute to them beating Dallas in the championship. Moochie Norris could've started Point Guard on that team and they still would have won.

He was never a top tier or even top 10 point guard during his career. Aside from crossing over a past prime Gary Payton, what do we remember him for? That's the highlight of his career.

He wasn't a turnover machine, just gave that impression because of his flashy handle. Go back and look at his turnover stats you will be surprised.

Williams was an entertaining player and a funny dude off the court. When he rocked that "Ho Depot" shirt post game :skip:

He's right. He was fun to watch but he was incredibly overrated. He became a respectable PG under Hubie Brown's tutelage but the magic was no longer in his game by then.

by who? when was he ever rated high enough to even be overrated? lol

i've never seen people try to big him up as anything beyond a flashy ass pg who was fun to watch.

unless you think calling him decent or solid or something is too much praise. :yeshrug:
