Persistence and drive. Big Sean basically ran up on Kanye outside a radio station and spit bars. I'm sure Kanye could appreciate drive like that cause he's passionate as well. He had the look. Not to say he doesn't now but Big Sean was among the biggest trend setters of the 2010's. nikkas was wearing TI$A snapbacks, wooden jesus pieces and pow chains cause of Sean. He's also a good to decent rapper.

This is a good take right here

Those Pow chains and love of Bape :wow:

yes big Sean was so marketable and had that type of unique personality to be big from the style/charisma and wasn’t a overly hood/street/ artist kinda like Kanye

it was unique for a kid in Detroit at the time. This wasn’t really the typical rap sound coming out Detroit

Big Sean was kinda ahead of the game and a trendsetter in style/rap/fashion

But Maybe Kanye just wanted a Detroit/midwest artist also

Cant be that meh if cats bit his style multiple times, and yet Sean is still a name in the game, rich, helps his city, and will be for a long time.
Who bit his style? I’m not rooting for his downfall lol.

There's alot of Sean's flow in early Drake.
People couldn't tell who was who on this

Lemonade freestyle lowkey caught fire around the industry too he fyed that shyt up. In a time when people were movin away from ‘freestyle mixtapes’ he put out some good ones while also showing he had real commercial viability.

Man ima have to go back and run back those finally famous on some high school / early college shyt :ahh:
