There isn’t as much risk as in the past, the tech has improved a lot since the early days. I don't watch much broadcast TV so channel logos, news tickers etc. aren't an issue for me but if I did I would be a little concerned. I typically use dynamic HUDs in games when the option is available so they are not continuously present.

If you do get burn in, LG will typically do one courtesy panel replacement if you do get burn in, I don't know about other manufacturers. I also bought an extra 5 year warranty that covers burn in and accidental damage etc. so I’m set until 2025. I still baby the TV to avoid burn in but it is not really a factor.

Prolly be switching back and forth between my 4k 120hz HDR10 monitor and my LG 75" 120hz tv. :ehh:
