IDAHIH is the best rap album ever made execution wise meaning the artist convays their feelings emotion, and messenge, clear and effectively

It's not in my top ten but it's unique as hell.

He's literally a bipolar dude and I don't think I've seen a rapper put down his mania and depression on wax as well as he did. He caught lightning in a bottle with his first two albums

i dont get it
Someone posted on how X came up without much help while a good amount of 50's help to blow up was the affiliation with Em/Dre/aftermath, in your response you were trying to make out 50 blowing up was nothing to do with Em and Dre (even tho they weren't all of the reason) because The first time people saw em n 50 in a video together was 4 years after he was signed, as if people had no idea they had been affiliated for years by then, which is retarded.

Exactly. Eminem was on the road with 50 promoting that album heavy. Eminem and dre were with 50 on TRL for the debut.

As for crossover appeal, lil kim and faith evans aren't even in the same universe as em and dre when it comes to exposure.

That's why it was weird for @bigbadbossup2012 to compare em, dre, lil kim, and faith.

I love dmx and have bought 5 of his albums during their initial run.
However,he was featured and in videos with likes of lil kim and mase prior to his own success. Also swizz came up with the hook to RR anthem, the song that made him.
R&B legend faith:bow: had to feature on How it's going down
and rap superstar sheek louch :scheme: did the hook for get at me dog to make dmx

Meanwhile eminem didnt rap alongside 50 in a music video till
2006
:manny:
but The whole point of your second post was to downplay em and Dres involvement while making it look like X had all the help in the world tho was it not?

Barking like a dog

And rapping about killing people is very deep

so Slippin, Let Me Fly, Here We Go Ain, In The Air Tonight, Lord Give Me A Sign, Look Thru My Eyes, Right Or Wrong and other countless records he's made aren't real songs with content? c'mon now you just spewing bullshyt. don't say all he does is bark and rap about killing people on record cause u wrong. if anything 50 rap about drugs, killing, and other junk more than DMX. X more about the struggle and coming up than any other rapper out right now, and always been.

What I'm talking about, is when you said "while em didn't appear in a video with 50 till 2006" while that may be true, it wasn't all over tv...it was on a special edition disc of the massacre, and Your whole point for mentioning that within the context of your post was to make it sound like 50 had no help up to that point popularity wise from the people behind him while pointing out all of the help X had before his debut dropped.

either way DMX got at least 3 albums i can play from front to back, while with 50 i can only listen to POTD & GRODT. everything else don't matter.
Yea i fukk with more X albums also but that's not what the thread's about.
But 50 has a better catalog of music overall, when you add the mixtapes

No it was not,i was providing clarity. Meaning 50 was not apart of of any radio marketed records, performing alongside em or dre, prior to him blowing up. Where as dmx was featured on two classic records by a couple of big stars right before he came out.
