If it wonāt identify itself then I would say donāt even acknowledge it.
This shyt has been trial by fire for me. I probably had damn near a decade of being bothered by ghosts because I was spiritually weak. I have more understanding and less fear so when I feel them, I sense whether itās malevolent or benevolent and go from there. But Iām at the point where they arenāt bothering me anymore. Or itās very rare. Like, it was BAAAAAAAD.
But now that Iām stronger and have more understanding I can get control when a spirit disturbs me.
The only time I really, really didnāt have any control was when what I believe may have been a deity literally froze me and stated its name. I was actually having a full on panic attack about something happening in my life and thisā¦force literally froze everything and told me to calm down and that my life would be fine and to just moving forward in life. Made me question my faith because the name it saidā¦wasnāt one in Christianity. It was a name that was used before Christianityā¦Iāll say that.
Iāve never acknowledged that incident verbally because Iām actually afraid of what I may discover.
That was years ago tho and lifeās been pretty steady ever since. Part of my chill attitude comes from that.
But yeaā¦seems like you have a spirit looking out for you. Unless you did actually pray to a specific angel. That would be amazing if it is checking in on you.
Praying to the angels does work, tho.
My immediate fam isnāt catholic but I went to catholic school my entire life. My mom (Baptist her whole life) started reviewing my religious homework and began praying to different archangels. Called up my aunt and was like āhey, these prayers work!ā

Have you ever done any research into what the name was ? Christianity kinda makes it seem like a bad thing but it seems like you have some spiritual insight so you may be able to find some answers.
There were religions and gods and spirits long before christianity was a thing. I dont think you should be afraid.
