From the little I've heard, he seems to be singing. I think we can all agree that one of the required elements of a hip hop song is rapping.
So if you aren't rapping on a song, how could that song be hip hop?
And before anyone bring up Bone, to me they were incorporating elements of singing into rapping. Fetty just sounds like he's singing. :yeshrug:
