So you really think that was about Dirk's 42% shooting. :usure: You acting like Dirk played like Bron in Boston last year for 6 straight games. He hit big shots but he wasn't just out their dropping bombs for four quarters every game. JET was more demoralizing than Dirk because he was doing it in Lebron's face after he told him he was gonna do it.

The thing that cats keep overlooking is that the Heat were a couple of shots away from sweeping. nikkas acting like it was a sweep. It was a close series that came down to the 4th in games 2-5 and Bron clearly wasn't ready for those moments on that level yet. No one else will ever have the chance to exploit that again.

Dirk was more clutch as was JET

Its going to have to take someone to be more clutch than LeBron esp since the Heat will have to face teams that play ugly and keep games tight. Luckily, the East only has one guy right now who has the potential to do that and that's Carmelo but I doubt he'll do it since LeBron will d him up

And yeah Dirk only shot 42% but the Game 6 puts those numbers down significantly. The Mavs though didn't need Dirk in the clinching game as JET balled out.

So what you're telling me is that Norris Cole, birdman, Shane battier, and a washed up ray Allen would have changed the 2011 series? Boy you guys stand hard. Oh and lets not forget rashard Lewis, who averages 5 & 2 is the xfactor? fukk outta here. And give me 3 things that have changed about LeBron since 2011? I'll be waiting. And don't you dare give me he's a leader now.

Three things that have changed with LeBron?

His shot selection is maybe the best of a perimeter player in history.
His jump shot is GREATLY improved.
He works a lot better with Wade now.
His confidence is clearly at an all-time high.
The shooters around him now are automatic.

the Nuggets hadn't hit their stride yet and I remember a few *questionable* coaching decisions (like not playing McGee down the stretch when he was looking the reincarnation of Dream) ended up killing us. but the important thing to look at in those games is the Heat couldn't keep us out of the paint and couldn't keep us off the offensive glass. and no, the addition of our former 4th string center to their rotation doesn't significantly change that. :skip:

and we're one of the few teams that has the ability to play Bron straight up. :iggy:

:ohhh: so your saying you didn't beat them at all :myman: keep it moving you not sniffing them boys in Miami .....3-1 Knicks, :lawd:

This man speaks the truth. Clippers and Nuggets are so damn different than the Heat that they have the possibility of surprising them. The clippers can play several different styles.

Unfortunately, Norris Cole would shut down CP3 and Ty Lawson :shaq:

:pachaha: your not beating the heat your just speculating but we all seen the only team to beat bron heat was the mavs

Dirk shot only shot 50% or better in 2 of the 6 games. 7-18, 6-19, 10-22 isn't gonna demoralize anyone. If the other teams best player shoots like that against these Heat, clutch won't matter because it will be a blowout.

Chris Paul is the only person on that team that can give us problems. He can't beat us by himself. Until blake develops a jumper we can easily sag off him on defense and bosh forces him or deandre away from the basket on offense diminishing their interior defense against slashers like lebron and wade.

Clippers have size and depth though. Ignoring the fact their coach is a retard, they have a good team on paper.

I'm not saying the Clippers are likely to beat the heat, but look at the West. Even a healthy Spurs would not be good enough IMO. I think the nuggets are the biggest potential problem for the Heat, and the clippers are the second. More a statement of the state of the Western Conference than anything though.

this is Skip Bayless-esque breh.

both games were close and getting it done in the clutch is all about confidence and familiarity, two things that weren't there for the Nuggets at the beginning of the season.

anyway, regular season record usually isn't the most reliable indicator for the final two rounds.

the Nuggets averaged 61 points in the paint and 20 offensive rebounds in both games against the Heat. let's say we got flukey hot from 3 and beat the Heat from beyond the arc but the Heat were able to keep us out the paint and off the boards, that would have been much more concerning regardless of the W.

:troll: :bryan: I'm just having fun breh lol playoffs getting ready to start then its all business . I used to root for the nuggets since the Knicks were not in the playoffs and Melo my favorite player until uou guys switched sides on him and let Niccas ride on him. Karl throwing shade at Melo always irked me and in my mind shows the mentality he probably approached Melo and jr . Like oh they won't do anything but score so why try any other way :leostare: you make valid points though I'm just fukking with you . You more than okc and sa would be The best matchup . How's your team to situation though ? Good ? Bad ?

our road to the finals is looking like Warriors-Spurs-OKC. I like our chances in the first two rounds (especially if Parker isn't 100%) but OKC is going to be a big challenge without Young Gelato. Gallo's length bothered Durant and Iggy is better suited checking Sabo. if we can take one out the first two in OKC and make them beat us in Denver. :ehh:

Ok :myman: looking for that Knicks -nuggets finals . How was Melos relationship with the Denver ownership by the way ?? It never seemed like the Bron Gilbert type of deal where they would protect him in the media . And they seemed kind of :yeshrug: once he left
