You right,we can't save everybody. My comment applies to the ones we CAN save. The Black community does have a huge drug problem and the government seem to punish those who get caught with those drugs,but what about the people who pump those drugs into our neighborhoods? (i.e we need to police our own community and build our own Militia/Military Company). Also,I don't see how we can't eat better. There are countless of food kitchens and community programs that give out free healthy food. Non-profit . Let's get to work

Some of the responses in here....They sound like a fantasy. Fantasies are one of the biggest problems in the Black community. Reality is what we should be focused on....whats reality?


In that 1 episode of American Gangster when they did the Gangster Disciples episode. They asked some young GDs what did they think of Larry Hoovers idea of changing Gangster Disciple into Growth And Development. Those young thugs looked right in the camera and said "we dont wanna change...and he better not come around here talking that change shyt cuz he might get killed." That right there says it all. The reality is that there are those who dont want change no matter how much u wanna fantasize about a united Black front. You said your comment applies to the ones we can save. The only ones u can save is your circle. We cant worry about them cats on the corner or the sister on the track or the crackhead up the block.

Policing the community talk sounds nice but guess what....militias can be corrupted. We saw this with The Black Panthers. Realistically imagine going into the hood and telling every d boy the game is over. Thats war. Aint nobody trying to war like that in the hood. And then u have the corrupt cops who are also in the streets. U think some Black militia wil stop the cops? Like i said, we saw that with The Black panthers.

Like i said, we focus on our circle...enlighten your kids, neices and nephews and cousins, leading by example. We cant worry about the crackhead up the block but we extend the hand to the crackhead in the family. Take care of your family and closest friends, thats it.....and if u have anything to spare only then do u extend a hand outside the circle but only to those who are worthy....it makes no sense exerting energy to dead weight.

1. Being better fathers would have a major impact on ton of the issues in the black community.How many dysfunctional men and women grew up with a strong and loving father in the house? Doesn't happen often. Mentoring is cool, but an ounce of prevention (values instilled from Day 1) is worth more than a pound of cure (trying to help out at-risk youth).

2. Be leaders to our women, and only choose to deal women that allow you to lead. We have to reward women that will selectively submit to her man.

3. Build better networks amongst each other, and work together on an economic and community level
