Ish happened to me last night for the 3rd time in my life. First time I was like :sadcam: wtf is going on. Then saw some figure at my door I thought I was finished. Second time it was n the middle of the day after a nap and I was kinda like :ehh: ima ride this out. Then this morning it happened for the first time in a few years.

Y'all had and experiences? What does it mean? I remember someone talking about seeing some demon sitting on their chest :merchant:

It happens a shyt ton to me during the summer. Heat + stress is what causes sleep paralysis.

:to:Happened to me all throughout my childhood, I'm 18 now and I still get them. Its the reason why I have a fear of being unable to move/being paralyzed.

It's goddamn scary!!!, always happens to me if I sleep on my back :sadcam: that's now :whoa: for me. I remember when it first happened to me, woke up, but couldn't move or talk, couldn't even breathe properly :damn: however I could think, kept trying to move but couldn't, after a while it wore off, but at the time I thought I would be trapped forever. Inhaling seems to make it wear off.

it used to happen me a few times when i was really anxious and could not sleep well...

at first I was scared of it, cause it's a scary ass feeling. but after a few times when you realize what is happening you can take advantage and have a little fun with it.

the most i've done was when i realized i was in sleep paralysis i would try to make lucid dreams, i was only able to have this happen twice. it's really cool. the first time i made up some girl with a fat ass ride my dikk, then the second time i made up me driving a flying car. all of this i controlled myself, it was pretty cool.

so I suggest taking advantage of it if you can, once you're in sleep paralysis it's not hard to transition to lucid dreaming with a little bit of practice and 'trial and error'.

The first sleep paralysis experience I had was sophmore year of highschool, it was around the time of PSATS and i was stressed/hated my high school. I was sleeping on my back and could acknowledge being awake but couldn't move. My mother told me in so many words it was the devil (gotta love black moms :pachaha:) She also said it was because I was stressing which i was.

For the longest time I feared getting those again but after a certain point i began to embrace it.

about 6 months ago I was sleeping sideways and had my door open. I was stuck, frozen but had my eyes open. The only light thats visible comes from the cable box/surround sound/internet modem lights flickering. I saw a figure that was the height of my doorknob so let's say 4 feet tall. it rushed to my face but I didn't move, nor felt fear. For the first time I truly didn't give a fukk..it ran back to wherever fast as shyt and I eventually unfroze.

The best way to describe how I feel after I unfreeze is:

and then go back to sleep 5 mins later.

Now I fully embrace sleep paralysis. For me it's the ultimate test of wills, are you going to be a scared p*ssy or fight back.

No lie I was falling asleep watching Dragon Ball when all of sudden that shyt hit me.

I was lying face down trying my hardest to turn my head to look at my monitor but I just couldn't.

I don't know how long it took but I was suddenly able to flip my whole body.

shyt had me shook.
