Found this dope ass russian sample. Got a nice little four bar loop in it but I can't find anything else in it. I usually scrap shyt like this but this shyt is pretty dope ...well at least I think it is lol

You can take the loop you like for one pattern.

Build some basic percussion around it.

Take that same loop, and slice it up on the pads to chop it. You will already have some percussion going to see if the chops mesh well with your drum pattern.

You can repeat this step again if you want to have 3 patterns from the same loop.

Take another part of the song. Although you said you only found that 4 bar loop, go take another part anyway, and chop it up like I mentioned above. See how it meshes with the flow of your other patterns.

Now you got a few pattern variations. It should be easier to build the rest of the beat from there

Truth be told there are several techniques as seen from the above replies. There isn't 1 right answer to this. You could chop the loop differently. You could filter but whatever path you take will make the track different. It really depends upon the sample being used.
