Spo is an above average coach...the only criticism I really have of him is that it is real easy to spook him out of something...He will go to a strategy...pop will counter...Spo will go away from it and won't go back to it...

First of all what is a "better offense?" Miami is not toward the top of the list in free throw attempts, or assist...so?
If we are talking points per game...uh...they spend the majority of their season playing the bucks, 76ers, hawks...pretty much ever eastern conference team not named indiana or chicago...so yeah...when you playing the worst teams in the nba night in and night out i hope you can put up numbers

Battier hit some key 3's in a couple of Finals games in their past 2 title runs. And he can guard Kawhi on the perimeter so Lebron doesnt have to run around so much. That's ALL I'm saying. He can even waste a few fouls on Kawhi that Lebron cant afford to.
Oden doesnt need to do anything but stand in the paint so Duncan and Splitter (and Diaw) don't get so many easy putback offensive rebs. He doesn't have to score. Just a few mins of interrupting what the Spurs are doing.
It ain't that simple though at all. With Oden Spurs would pull him from the basket in pick and rolls and have him running all over the court. Not to mention that with the way the Spurs whip the ball around the court back and forth waiting on an opening they need as much foot speed as possible for the Heat to run their defensive system. The strength in their system is aggressiveness and Oden is just to slow to keep their defense consistent.
Put Battier on the floor and Spurs are pounding it inside. If your idea is to have Battier guard Khawi then Lebron would have to spend more time guarding the bigs and I could see Pop pounding the ball inside just to try to wear down Lebron who has already been seeming wore down. That's why Spo has been try to stay with Lebron at the 3 to keep him from getting worn down.
