Yep after this season. If big time pitchers start getting hurt they will change it. Pitch counts will be heavy,might see more relievers. Imagine Ohtani ,Scherzer complaining they might listen.

Maybe you’re right.

But seeing how rushed it was, I fear that it could lead to issues. Especially when pitchers and catchers disagree on what pitch to throw.

I don’t want this rule to lead to a league where pitchers abandon all strategy and they become robots just throwing whatever number is put down.

My ChiSox fam can tell you this is why Mark Buehrle was GOAT. He wouldn’t need a pitch clock. A Buehrle game was over in 2 hours…he wasn’t fukkin around.

They will change time limit but clock here to stay. Baseball was hurting about long baseball games. All about ratings if ratings go up MLB wont change shyt.

The only time change should be speeding up the 20 seconds with runners on base. That should be cut down to 18 seconds.

They've done studies that show the correlation with how long these dikkhead pitchers hold the ball and increased velocity. That gave the pitchers the added advantage, which they already had.

No more assembly line of relievers coming in, waiting 22 seconds to fill the gas tank and blowing dudes away with 100 mph four seamers. We should get fewer strikeouts and more contact, which is what the game's been missing. fukk these pitchers. Put balls in play; banning the shift will also help. Bout damn time.
