What do yall think about the new MLB Pitch Clock

I don't know how to feel yet. Definitely want to see a few months of games and how pitchers, catchers and batters adjust to it. I think everybody (fans incl) will get used to it eventually

I prefer pitchers and batters staring at each other for a full minute before the pitcher steps off the mound or the batter steps out the box to start the process all over again.

I’d bump it up to 20 seconds after watching the video, maybe 25. 15 seconds is a little quick.

He threw the pitch at 7-8 seconds every video

I don't like it. It is what it is. If you grew up on baseball then 3 hours+ games is what makes it baseball. You go, leave after x time and catch the score the next day or listen on the radio.

Society just doesn't have the attention span. Is crazy cause at the athletes evolve, the more they're coddled

i love it. i heard that game was over in under 2.5 hours. last spring training game i went to was a test of endurance for the fans, not the players. i could see why people get so drunk at 2pm

Announcer can't even get, "Top of the 9th, runner on second, one out and the 2-2 pitch is on the way" before the pitch clock expires lol

I don't think the problem was ever really pitchers taking long to throw. It was that they have all these goddamn commercials in between innings.

That said, what are the odds that 5 or 10 years from now, these 2 hour and 30 minute games that we might see now in 2023....devolve back to 3 hour games once the owners decide they want to fill the half hour they saved with more ad revenue?

They gotta make up that scratch they lose from concessions with fans leaving 30 minutes earlier somehow
