The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
It's clear the celtics are making a playoff run as they are now playing Gigi Datome over James Young

Wouldn't at all be surprised to see them keep 2 of, or maybe all of bass, datome, and Jerebko

They are proven good players in the system, will be cheap, and most importantly can set us up for a big trade of our other assets, and clear space to make a run at a big name free agent

One of Sullinger and olynyk is definitly gone, I think zeller is most likely to stick out of the three which I would have never seen myself saying a year ago.

I think Sully is worth a good deal more as bait then Kelly is. If they think his attitude is going to keep him from taking the next step, he will be in a package for sure.

Plus hes due for a new contract either by October or definitly next summer

Can't imagine him settling for less than 8 million per at the minimum and more likely closer to 10... He's not worth that

A win against a top team Grizzlies eh? :ehh:

Maybe the Celtics aren't who we thought they were...

But Brad Stevens has to be a legitimate Coach of the Year contender.

Isaiah Thomas deserves Most Improved Player.

Stevens COY candidate? Definitely. If the Celtics manage to finish the season with a .500 or better record then I say he should win it.

Isaiah should def be 6MOY but winning MIP? You know he averaged 20 a game in Sacramento last year right?

when crowder was coming out of college..i wrote that i thought he'd be a good-great role player for years

dude is lowkey near duplicating what jeff green was doing on a per minute basis and on the court. what a great pick-up.

our schedule is so-so the rest of the way. pretty balanced but perhaps easier than the comp.
sixers at home then at thunder and at spurs :francis:
pistons at home then at brooklyn, home vs miami, and at nyk
home vs clippers, at charlotte, home vs pacers and bucks
3 game road trip: at toronto, at detroit and at cleveland :francis:
then home vs cleveland, home vs toronto and at milwaukee to end the season

we could get 9-10 wins there if we play really well..but could conceivably shyt the bed as well and only get 6-8.

pacers have a harder schedule than us, so does charlotte (with a shyt ton of road games too)..miami has a bunch of road games including a 4 and 3 game road stretch..

stands to reason that cleveland could rest some guys on one or both of those games with the 1 seed out of reach so we might be able to sneak one there and if we win a majority of the games we play against the other teams in the battle for 7th and 8th then 9 wins could very well be good enough for the 8 spot..maybe even the 7 if the other teams really fall off. personally, id rather grab the 8 seed than the 7th unless toronto or chicago gets past cleveland for the 2.
