Nate isn't back...

Him and prince are both expected to accept buyouts by tomorrow

It clears two spots. We then trade Austin rivers for two expirings and a 2nd rounder from the clippers and then probably buy out those players too and pick up some guys from the d league

Bass, Thornton, and Gerald Wallace will be guys Danny will be looking to trade next

Well damn...was looking forward to Nate but I can see why he isn't in Ainges plans...

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding

The talent pool in this upcoming draft is perfect... We desperately need a center and depending on the lottery we will get one of okafor, towns, cauley stein, or turner... All very good center prospects imo

Cauley-Stein is basically our worst case scenario and he's basically Tyson chandler 2.0

Although I don't think you can rule out danny drafting johnson or Winslow

Mannix tweeted me that if we don't get a top 3 pick, Winslow is our best bet

:patrice: Hmm....

Out of the centers you named, I like Towns the most. He appears to have the most upside. But I'd be happy with any of those centers.

YES to Winslow!

How accurate has Mannix proven to be? :feedme:

Smart, Bradley, Young, Sullinger, Towns will be a really good starting lineup in the next two years, provided they're kept together and develop chemistry.

Low-key, the Celtics just might make the playoffs.

And Jared Sullinger is having one hell of a season!

Do you guys think Sullinger can become an even better player or has he reached his peak already?

And I'm excited as hell for the Marcus Smart era!

Who is the best player for the Celtics that is available on the trading block?

Brook Lopez?
Enes Kanter?
Joe Johnson?
Kenneth Faried?
Isaiah Thomas?
Ty Lawson?
Kevin Martin?
Jose Calderon?
Devon Williams?

Misread the question. I think Kanter & Isaiah are the most realistic

So would they be starters? How does that impact the starting lineup for the Cs? Does Smart go back to the bench or so the Cs go for a smaller backcourt? Or does Isaiah come off the bench?

Tbh I don't want Isaiah, I just know that Danny likes him. To me I think Isaiah would stunt the development of Smart who is the bigger priority right now. Isaiah has been complaining about coming off the bench behind Dragic & Bledsoe, I'd imagine it would be even worse if he was playing behind Smart & Bradley. He's an undersized PG that's a complete defensive liability and really the only thing he's good at is scoring and nothing else.

I think Kanter would have a chance to start, assuming Bass gets traded. A 4-big rotation of Sully, Kanter, Olynyk and Zeller is solid

Looks like we may be getting Ty Lawson, according to multiple reports.

Great player but is this what we need?

What is Ainge & co. up to? What about Marcus? This CANNOT be a permanent move.
