I'm in agreement

id much rather isiah Thomas, he won't get in smart's way, he'd be an excellent 6th man for us, won't cost as much, and hjs contract is a bargain

Thomas is so underwhelming to me, he's a JAG in the truest sense, but maybe he's a piece?

I dunno anymore....

He's got two more years on his contract after this at 7 million or so and his contract actually goes down in price as the years go on

He's an excellent pick and roll ball handler, spot up shooter, guaranteed scoring punch for our bench.. Basically the ideal 6th man

Cost way less than Dragic or lawson and won't take away from Smart being the starter

ISAIAH THOMAS?!?!?!?!?!

Our backcourt is getting clogged. We're having the same problem the Phoenix Suns had at the beginning of the season (save the fact we have a crapload of draft picks).

Isiah has more value in a trade than that Cleveland 1st will. I think Danny uses him as a chip. But even he sticks around next season his current current contract is pretty good when you consider the cap is going to be going up a lot this summer. I agree with Kev too, I think he could be a good sixth man for us.

We basically run a three guard rotation with smart, Bradley, and Thomas... Young might get a few of those minutes and takes tayshaun's minutes too

Thomas is the sixth man and about as good a scoring sixth man as you can get

His contract is a bargain

Don't know how to feel. Thomas is a defensive liability, has a tendency to ballhog on offense, plus we know if he doesn't start over Smart he'll be crying up a storm

I prefer Isaiah because he has an unreal contract, didn't cost much to trade for and won't get in smart's way because he's ideally a really good sixth man

If you get Lawson, you're giving up a ton plus he makes smart pointless on this team

Isaiah was the perfect addition

Maybe Stevens finds a way to play Thomas and Smart at the same time. He clearly has no problems experimenting with different lineups.

Bradley and Thomas both grew up in Tacoma, Washington and are very good friends. I think Thomas will be happy here and understand, it's not like this ever affected his play

You will see lineups with Thomas, Bradley, and smart on the floor together

Thomas will get 25-30 minutes a night

I'd love for you to be right and there be no issues. But after how he acted in Phoenix I'm not gonna get my hopes up

Of course the ATL
Absolutely a decent chance

We play them well, Millsap hurt, thabo out, and we got a better coach!

A decent chance of winning a game? I agree I think y'all would have a decent chance of winning a game in a series vs. us

Millsap will be back for the playoffs, he's just resting now, Thabo is our 8th guy and wouldn't be needed to beat y'all and Bud is >>>>>>>>Stevens

If Stevens and Bud switch rosters, Stevens wins just as many games and Bud is in the lottery

No doubt in my mind

The Celtics are a very dangerous team. We have a bunch of players who each have everything to prove to the league (Turner, Thomas, Zeller, Olynk, Smart). Add Coach Stevens in the mix and you'll see that Cs are no easy win. Our boys play hard every night.

I bet the series goes to 7 games.

I bet Teague gets exposed.

Millsap and Horford both work hard but are undersized and can be killed in the post.

Hawks (and coach Budenholz) don't adapt well to how other teams play. In a seven game series, it's about matchup and which coach can exploit them. The Hawks play a certain style of ball, win or lose. The Celtics are very maleable and can adjust their lineups to expose favorable matchups. Stevens is a surgeon and the players are swiss army knives. Coach Frank is still wet behind the ears when it comes to making game-altering adjustments with his team.

And if the Hawks go cold from behind the arc......:scust:
