Dude. I recently went through this with the girl I fell in love with. Even before she gave me her number she said she was cool with hanging out with me outside of work but she still ignored my text messages and she only texted me when it benifetted her.

It hurts bro, I know it does, but you have to move on. I wish I was strong enough 6 months ago to do that but I didn't give up and ended up getting hurt badly.

I take a screenshot for future reference, then I keep it moving.
If I was hollering and she stopped responding, I just let it die and stop talking to her. If she responds back, I keep it civil and remove all flirtatious undertones until she gets the message or we talk about it, which is rare 'cause if she ain't interested, chances are she ain't gonna bring it up.

If it's a chick that I'm friends with or at the very least strongly aquaintened with, I just fall back in a similar fashion, but I make it a point to purposefully ignore 'em since if we already affiliated like that, they should know how much I DETEST being ignored by people I know/do shyt for. Especially if she's the type to only make herself available for help/favors. Like this one bytch who only remembers me when her car battery dies and wants me to bring my portable battery pack charger. I ain't trying to hit so she got no reason to be wary of talking to me and she never calls/texts for anything BUT a favor.
