2002 Camaro SS- Paid Off
2009 Pontiac G8 GT- Paid Off.

Ideally, Your car should be a representation of cash you have to spare. Don't buy a 40k car if you only make 50k/year, buy something 8-10k.

But, if you're an enthusiast, then that logic goes out the window and you'll spend a little extra.

WTF? If you make 50k you want to buy something 8-10k?? What do you think financing is for? Hell, leasing? Terrible logic.

What do you think financing is for?

People that don't have the money to afford the things they want at the moment.

Hell, leasing?
People that want to drive something new and pay a premium to do so.

Terrible logic.

Were talking about cars. Everyone has different logic, yours is no better than mine. The logic I presented was for someone who doesn't want a finance company to have them by the balls for 3-7 years over a depreciation asset.

If you don't mind that, go ahead and cop something flashy, more power to you. :salute:

Building credit is essential, regardless. One of the best ways is a car note. 50,000 is quite a bit of money depending on your family situation and obligations...but to each his own. :salute:

2008 Chevy Impala..... Paid off though. Loving not having a car note. I'm looking for a cheap crew cab pick up for hauling as a 2nd car and then after that, I don't know.
