time for him to take over the team, let's see if he's up to it :yeshrug:

He averaged 21/7/3 on 50/44/87 shooting last season (62% true shooting :ohhh:)...I can see a jump to 23/8/4 or something on slightly worse efficiency as his usage increases

Might win MVP. Came 2nd last year

What I want to see from him is high volume scoring in the postseason. Spurs will need that if they're going anywhere

Hopefully we get somebody to help him on the perimeter. Be nice if he had a SG next to him who was useful offensively:francis:

They can't keep asking him to guard the opposing team's best player AND be our #1 option for 40+ mins

Tony Parker need to stop tryna ball hog and not let Kawhi eat late in games too:martin:

2nd in MVP voting behind LeBron James.

There is no way LeBron does not win the MVP this season. He proved it in the past 2 finals that he is still the best player in the NBA.

Kawhi's scoring will go up another point or two and his rebounding may get better with Duncan gone. Don't think he's going to take another huge leap but then again with the rate he has improved so far anything is possible.

He's exceeded expectations every step of the way. I expect him to improve even more. Problem is that I don't think he'll mesh well with Pau on the floor
