This guy is actually pretty damn funny. When I saw him in Half Baked I thought he was a retard but after watching some of his stand up shows, he's actually a funny guy.

This is one of his best routines

This story is long but funny as fukk. If u have time, I recommend it.

This one about meeting Joe Pesci is funny too.

He did a lot of skits for SNL right?

he's okay, I'm not a big fan though. the funniest part to me is that he looks like he's stoned 24/7 when he actually isn't

This fool is the definition of not funny

I used to think the same, he came across like some kind of tard to me.

I wasn't really a big fan either but he's funnier than what I 1st thought.

What makes you make this thread NOW tho? Did he come out with something new?
His old shyt.. Well, I'm all for comedy. I'm a looney tunes head :manny:
He was funny enough, but never stuck out as a "Yo, did you catch that Jim Brewer special"
You gotta know somebody who knows somebody to know if he had a special, na mean

So what do I think about him as a comedian? I don't. I look at him as a comedy actor.
Like, what he should have done by now was tag on to Disney or Nick as a dad. He'd have made a better TV dad than most of the guys who fill those roles today.

Yeah maaaaaan :smoker:

Well, its only in the last year that I have seen his comedy, other than his acting roles. Before that I didn't even really like him. He was funny in Half Baked but I always saw him as a retard, burn out.

But when I heard that whole story about the pizza man I posted I was :laff:

Also his stand up routine about alcohol was hilarious to me, since I am a drinker.

I just wondered if other people knew about his stand up and found him funny.

I don't think his stand up is that great but he's hilarious when he goes on Howard Stern and just tells stories....his impressions are pretty funny too.

He has a documentary on Netflix about being on the road an taking care of his 80 year old dad that is REALLY good though and it's definitely worth a watch

Comes across as a raging alcoholic.......

Really? I didn't get that impression. Back in the day he came across as a major stoner/burnout.

Some people are way funnier when u see them live I guess.
