Because these things are national news. Where you get your baby's hair done is not. Those threads spark outrage or gossip. They are popular and really are ephemeral once the hot topic has come and gone. "best/worst things about dating a white person" and such could be a valuable resource for some folks, free of bad trolling. and there are many awesome topics that can be discussed. And who's to say that a decent topic in TRT won't be moved to TLR or lead to some forum wide announcement? Why are nikkas so stubborn about posting in the correct forum?

Does a thread being in "The Race Track" deem it unworthy of discussion? I thought it was regulated now for more serious discussions or something like that. Wasn't there a stickied thread about it a little while back?

When we have threads like the ones listed below moved to The Race Track, it's obvious that the section is just a place where all race related threads get thrown to even if some of the threads are more worthy of the Bushes. Examples of Bushes worthy threads are:

@hookersandicecream thinks just because he's white and I'm Hispanic that he's smarter than me

Dark skinned women are the easiest to pull if you're a light skinned man

All of those threads will not generate serious discussion and should be put in the Bushes. Which is why the notion of TRT being the place where serious discussions of race can occur is completely false. And let's not even go into the P@WG threads that ALL should be sent to the Bushes.

The mods still do a good job. They let us get away with A LOT. But they need to be more liberal with the ban hammer when obvious non-black posters and trolls are just stirring up trouble (i.e. @GiGi , @DrX , @GetInTheTruck , etc.)

Sites like SF will ban anyone who even hints at being non-white with the quickness. Same approach should be taken here for non-black posters.

So I ask then why not just create the subforum dedicated to the African Diaspora that folks were asking for months ago? Race Track has the stigma of being troll oriented plus its buried at the bottom of the list of forums
