I think they won. They know it. And they love being in the number one spot. Even the ones that feign unawareness of their position are secretly gloating.

I think all of that will change in the next 100 years because they've become sloppy. Their numbers are dwindling also. They won't go out without a fight though. They'd rather destroy the world than hand it over.
