Levittown stated that the property could not be used or rented by any individuals other than those of the Caucasian race.[10] Before the sale of Levittown homes began, the sales agents were aware that no applications from black families would be accepted. As a result American veterans who wished to purchase a home in Levittown were unable to do so if they were black.[11
Yeah breh I'm a heavy handed tipper lol. Pm me your business into.
Do you strictly do longer trips like LI to nyc/airport or do you also do local stuff? I go out for drinks almost every thurs night w my boys (like 3-5 mile trips to spots like kyma in roslyn village, peddler in greenvale etc) and I've been hitting up uber because I can't be fukking w dwis like that. Local police don't play. If you're around in the area those times I'll pass your info along.
Stay away from Hempstead, Roosevelt, Uniondale, Rosedale, freeport is ok but its getting bad. If you are Haitian try Elmont. Nothing but Haitian bbqs all summer, no matter what block you are on Kompa Music and good food what else can you ask for? and it doesn't matter if you know the people having the bbq just say Pierre is your uncle. Every Haitian family has an uncle Pierre.

Thing is what happened in Levittown happened everywhere in America. The world didn't end up this way for no reason, it was made that way. But I digress...

There seems to be an increasing number of people moving from Eastern Queens (and elsewhere in NYC) to Nassau.
I do hear that Long Island is very segregated but there are notable exceptions.Isn't Long Island basically the model for red-lining and segregation?

Any nikka who been to Hempstead know that town don't play. I used to be on front street, not far from Terrace Ave. The Terrace Ave. Anybody who don't know Google hempstead terrace ave. nikka I grew up in the BX during the most violent era and I have never seen as much open air crime and drug selling like on Terrace. Only thing that came close was shyt you saw on episodes of the wire. That one block humbled me in knowing that the city ain't the only place that real shyt go down.
