What does Carroll do as a coach that's better than Reid?

Carroll's in game stewardship is a lot better than Reid.

Look, I don't mean to shyt on Reid and I do think he's a good coach, there's a lot on a head coaches plate as it's a mutifaceted role, but Reid is subpar at best at administration of a single game(I'll let Eagles fans speak more on it as they would know far better than myself)

The amount of offenses and QB's Reid has worked with would prove otherwise. Prior to Russell Wilson- Pete Carroll was considered a failure as an NFL Head Coach. Reid was successful off the bat.

exactly. andy reid punted down 10 vs denver on a 4th and 7 from denvers 41 in the 4th quarter 2 weeks back. trip likes quality in game strategy like that, you see a lot of those quality decisions from reid

did pete caroll not win a playoff game with a shyt qb, and shyt team "right off the bat"? thats not a successful first season with a bad team?

I'm not saying that Reid is a bad coach. He's got his soft spots as do they all. X's and O's I totally agree that's his forte. Game/clock management? :mjpls:

Hasselbeck being a shyt QB at that point isnt really accurate. The homefield for that game being 7-9 was bullshyt.

Reid certainly isnt perfect...but his track record for building an offense is pretty good. The Eagles were always a good team while he was there. Big spots he had some bad moments....but Pete Carroll all of a sudden is a better coach? please...

lets disregard caroll beating a double digit favorite in the playoffs his first year in seattle but give reid credit for "being successful right off the bat."

:yeshrug: How often does shyt like that happen though? They won their division, there's gotta be a reward for winning the division.

technicality I guess. Maybe being in college for so long made Carroll a better talent evaluator. Like I said I wish the Jets gave him more time...but he's not a better coach than Reid imo.

lest disregard the Jets being in first place and then collapsing after the fake spike to finish 6-10(if you want to argue like this)

you are the one who said hasselbeck wasnt bad that year, and that reid was "successful right off the bat" while ignoring that caroll won a playoff game as a double digit underdog his first year in seattle with a terrible roster. those are your statements. hasselbeck "wasnt a shyt qb in 2010" :laff:
