technicality I guess. Maybe being in college for so long made Carroll a better talent evaluator. Like I said I wish the Jets gave him more time...but he's not a better coach than Reid imo.

I mean a lot is made of Carroll's failures in the NFL before Seattle... like was said, Hess only gave him one year and he had the team winning before the collapse after the fake spike game. He never had a losing season in NE and won a playoff game. He's a quality coach.

Never said he wasnt....however with the amount of insight Reid has toward an offense...its hard to argue his impact as a playcaller. Right now that's more valuable than what Carroll brings imo. Like I said- the program in Seattle is what's successful....Carroll is just a piece. Reid came into KC and basically turned it around immediately with a team that's essentially the same and had clearly quit on the previous coaches.
