I refuse to like Carroll cuz of the chokehold he and USC had on the pac-10 when he was there, my Stanford allegiance, my Niner allegiance, my harbs allegiance (what's your deal!)...but hate aside, dude is doing a good job, seems like a cool guy, and has a great eye for talent, if it weren't for all the previously listed reasons, I'd salute him...but I won't.

Pete aint shyt really, he lucked up in getting Russel Wilson, he wasn't shyt before Wilson got there.

He got a good team though, and i`d say he's a pretty good coach, no top 5 though, not even top 10.

Never said he wasnt....however with the amount of insight Reid has toward an offense...its hard to argue his impact as a playcaller. Right now that's more valuable than what Carroll brings imo. Like I said- the program in Seattle is what's successful....Carroll is just a piece. Reid came into KC and basically turned it around immediately with a team that's essentially the same and had clearly quit on the previous coaches.

This, it's kind weird how Andy Reid is underrated because of his last couple of seasons.

That being said Seattle was always a solid team. Pete Caroll is a very good coach, but I wouldn't be so quick to call him top 5. Top 10 def. Let's see how they do in the playoffs.
