One of the founders at Jurassic 5 worked as a janitor at Nordstrom for a while after the economic collapse in the 2000's. When they reunited for Coachella he started getting money again, but I'm sure there are a lot of artists who didn't get that chance who are unfortunately still stuck in that situation.

I know of a prominent Bay Area rapper who if you peeped how he move you would never know he hurting as bad as he is. But that's the game for you. A lot of the shyt is smoke and mirrors to keep up the image and persona. But depending on how well your business and hustle are means everything.
