What do you think of J.coles Production Game

its not ground breaking. I don't see rappers talking about they need that j cole beat. It works for him. Its mostly dope though

Average. Once in awhile he surprises me. But overall it's meh.

It kinda works for him though, so I'm cool with it. But I'd really like to see him holla at some other cats for beats.

It's dope imo, not a lot of new producers who are poppin are much better.
Problem with Cole is that he produces a broad range of beats, if he would just specialize on his type of beats he would only have dope, dramatic, plain beats. But then he wouldn't drop beats like Power Trip or I let down Nas or New York Times etc so It's expected that he'll miss a few and hit a few when he dives into unknown territory.

Right now he's probably the most diverse producer.

But he'll never be a Kanye, as in known for being a blazing producer.

I think he's decent. he has some bangers here and there. but most of it is not anything mindblowing.
