I use my Xbone to play games (Main current gen console) and Watch Netflix.
I haven't a Ps4 and even if I did, I'd still buy the lion's share of cross platform games for it, saving the Ps4 only for exclusives 'cause there's where the bulk of my friends are since last gen.

GOAT media streaming box. Can stream from another PC or all the fukking app options. Not sure why people dont get it for these functions alone. Games are just a bonus honestly.

Yeah, problem with this thinking is that the xbox one was pushed as a gaming machine. Games being just a bonus is pretty much admitting defeat to the PS4.

It's a shame how worthless this console has become. You can probably nab one on Craigslist for under $180 now. Microsoft has priced the thing down so much that they've destroyed any value in them.

Honestly had they come out day one with the lower price and all the deals they probably would have demolished the PS4 but they ended up doing it on the back end after Sony lapped them and doing it that way just destroyed the console.

It's no wonder that in year 4 they're talking about putting out a console that's 4x more powerful. It's basically gonna be a new console based on the same architecture with far superior specs that can run the old games from the sound of it.

This whole console generation has been an abomination. To the point that 4 or so years in both Nintendo and Microsoft are preparing to shift to different hardware and Sony is half toying with the idea.

Outside of playing video games? Nothing....... my Xbox 1, ps4, and pc are I my office. I also have 2 smart tvs , an apple tv, and two 2 chrome casts so using the Xbox as a media center is pretty to me.
