What do your parents do for a living?

Mom: worked for an International non-profit agency (passed away ten years ago)
Pops: was a civil servant

Can't really say I'm "proud" of them, never really got a full grip of what they did (left home when I was 15) and I think both kind of wasted their potential and better opportunities, and have little to show for those choices. I actually fear I'm following that path too.

It's funny until you talk to my dad and realize that he's being serious.

As an example, not only does my dad believe that George Zimmerman is innocent, but to quote, "That nikka had to go! He was out there, being black and sneaking around; I would have shot him too!"

my moma has been a lvn since i was born. and my daddy is a drafter, he owns his own business, he creates blueprints for buildings and is doing pretty good for himself , enuf to spoil my grown ass.

Practically grew up in a funeral home. Pops raised me a single father, couldn't swing a babysitter a lot of the time so I had to go to work w/ him whenever he was needed.
