:dwillhuh: I have no idea where all this curry hate is coming from. Dude is not your prototypical athlete but is having an amazing year! He's the ultimate competitor, ain't out there talking shyt, doesn't complain to refs and was riddled with injuries during the beginning of his career.

This guy came out of nowhere and shot up to superstar status:wow:

Let's chill with the goat pg discussion though... He has to have a few more years of this before you can throw him in there with magic and Isaiah.

I knew dude was special when he dropped this on my Knicks

:wow:

I can't believe people in this thread are really trying to diminish curry's effect on the Warriors team right now:dwillhuh:.

Yes the Warriors are deep but they are not getting out of the first round without curry. We are talking about the GOAT shooter. His presence on the court alone, without him being aggressive, is immeasurable.

I see people citing his early struggles in this series has a reason to slight him and I can't believe it. Dude has been getting doubled more than LeBron. The attention he's drawing by the Cavs team is crazy. If you don't see that, i don't know what to say to you:yeshrug:.

As for OP's question, I think a Ring/ finals MVP would give him a fast track to the hall of fame barring injury. I think in terms of the impact of the game he's gonna elevate himself to AI level has just one of those players who changed the game. He's gonna make shooting popular. Kids will wanna be Steph curry. And how things are set up, unless the Thunder wake up. This will be Steph and Golden states era. Klay Thompson is still improving and they still can improve that roster. This is only the beginning for Steph :ehh:

A lot of people really finding it hard to believe that Curry is a transcendent player.... he's not the stereotypical super athlete type, but he is changing the game. In a few years on everyone will be looking for their point guards to be the next Steph Curry. Hell, you already see those comments with DeAngelo Russell.

They still think it's a game, Curry ain't regular good

They going to learn tonight :francis:

Again
People have forgotten how to watch Basketball
as soon as he crosses half court you gotta deal with him. There is no such thing as a bad shot with him. He was trapped all game and still had 37 points on 23 shots. That is getting overlooked heavily. The one game LeBron got trapped he had 20 points on 7 of 22 shooting

We will see another Kobe, LeBron, MJ, etc. before we see another Curry.

This guy is an all-time great and I can't fathom why anybody on here is trying to throw shade on him. Appreciate what we're witnessing.

I like chef curry but can't crown him an all time great when he only plays one side of the ball. I mean the nikka guarding shump for Christ sake. Still think cliff Paul and young sabotage are better because they are Elite at both ends.

Westbrook is not elite on defense. He gambles all over the place and was a part of OKC's horrendous defense this season.

Curry's defense is much better than most give him credit for.

Lord Jesus. He's 26. You talk about legacies when you're 75 or dead.

You right on both accords but I still like Paul's and young sabotage's versatility over curry

Exactly. nikkas refuse to accept Curry's a generational talent just like Wilt, Magic, Bird, Kobe, Jordan etc

nikkas bringing up defense like Magic, Bird, Dirk were anything special in that aspect.

And the worst post of the year goes to.....

:dead: at Kidd being better than Curry. Yall dudes clearly can't think for yourselves.
Nah I think Kidd is better. J. Kidd used to dominate games without scoring. I don't think Steph can do that
