@Czarface im curious why you have a problem with this when bin laden stated that america's support of israel, and disrespect of the middle east, was the main reasons for 9-11 :ehh:

Israel was among the reasons he listed. He did not say it was the "main" reason. He outlined many, many other reasons.

Full text: bin Laden's 'letter to America'

The OP was "what does Israel provide to the U.S." and you responded with a picture of the Twin Towers going up in flames. You said nothing about "disrespect of the middle east."

You know better. Stop pretending you don't.

Back then, the U.S. felt it necessary to maintain stability in the Middle East at all costs because it didn't want Soviet influence to creep in

But Israel is one country and was solidly pro-American. How did that contribute to Middle East stability? The American bias towards Israel actually worked contrary to this and increased Soviet influence as more countries found their relationship with America difficult to maintain.

In August 2009, Haaretz had an article entitled: Israeli arms dealers join Lieberman's entourage to Africa.

On 14 september 2009, there was a news story entitled: Israel eyes big arms sales in Africa

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has recently visited Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda.

According to an 'Israeli intelligence specialist', this is about building up intelligence links and selling arms.

Israeli officials are hoping for African arms contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Yossi Melman, an expert on Israel's security services, wrote in Haaretz that the "less publicized" aspect of the tour was boosting "defense exports," such as the arms deals worth $500 million that Israel has signed with Nigeria in recent years.

The unmarked planes fly into African countries loaded with weapons and they fly out loaded with conflict minerals ,Gold and Diamonds...take a wild guess where the headquarters of the diamond trade is?

But the Saudis have always been their go to guys for that. From the Mujahideen in Afghanistan to the Gulf war to rebels in Syria now. On top of that Saudi intel has been priceless over the past 2 decades as the focus has turned to Islamist factions and Jihadis. The Saudis are unrivalled in infiltrating jihadi groups since many of them come from the Arabian Peninsula :skip:

Saudi Arabia has used an unrivalled network of tribal and family connections to infiltrate Islamist militant strongholds in Yemen, enabling it to help thwart a bomb plot against the United States, say Gulf officials and former diplomats.

Deploying agents against an al Qaeda target that has learnt to shun electronic communications allowed Saudi security services to disrupt a third would-be attack in 30 months, a regional security official told Reuters on Wednesday.

Asked about reports the world's top oil exporter and Washington's chief Gulf ally had run the operation, the official replied: "It's absolutely true".

Tip offs from Riyadh helped foil a planned suicide bomb attack on a plane over Detroit in 2009 and revealed a bomb disguised as a printer cartridge loaded in Dubai onto a plane bound for Chicago in October 2010. The latest alleged plot involved a suicide bomber, apparently a double agent, charged to conceal explosives in underwear and bring down a U.S. airliner.

Saudi recruits are present at all levels in al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), now seen as the most dangerous wing of the militant group.

Matthew 27:25
Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

1 Thessalonians 2:15
Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men.

They deserve no special respect at all. Perhaps even a little less if anything.

Nothing at all. We gave no bases there. They are a geopolitical liability for the US.
