What does it mean when people call you “Sir”

Under your situation it can mean a lot...vibes I’m getting is that they aren’t comfortable with you YET (hopefully)

If you been around for a while and deal with these people a lot , then it means you give off real cookie cutter/serious vibes like you’d call HR if they made an inappropriate joke so they act accordingly

if not that, they just don’t fukk with you for whatever reason, could be something you did like throw someone under the bus

So a few people at work call me Sir back when I call their name, which I’m getting paranoid about. I’m 32yrs old so it’s not like I’m a senior citizen and they don’t refer to the other people at work even those much older than me by that. What could it mean?
