What does Mook have to do to have a good showing next battle?

I was thinking like we shouldve known in a way what Mook would do vs Solomon after the Young Hot battle cause he kind of denounced the gun and coke raps. His interviews, even though hes delusional in thinking he had a good performance, I do kind of respect when he says Im not gonna rap about that anymore cause from by most accounts he was frontin before so at least hes being real now. And he did break Solomon down it just wasnt entertaining but it did accomplish the job.

But having said that, if he doesnt go back to his old style, what does he need to do to be dope again?

He spends a ton of time trying to prove the other guy is not real.

In reality he needs to focus more on dropping memorable bars and more creative angles

I remember in the young hot battle he says "if you doing all this killing why you not in jail right now" and I'm thinking can't you apply that to every person who ever battled rap?

And he was just garbage vs solomon.

New day and age mook angles just don't work. And he not funny and clever like say swave or goodz or other guys who not lyrically superb but they get by on performance humor etc.

Mook not funny, not wity, not clever and as far as bars he just not that good especially in these times where joe blow in some small ass league got at least decent bars. He got to step up in all these areas to make it now

I think he beat Millz and Jihad but I feel you. To me Serious beat him. I think he has to be a legend his 4 smack battles except maybe party arty are classics and he didnt get bodied in any and had good performances. But I might be inclined to agree with commisoner to an extent.

Here's the thing. When Mook faced Solomon, it was typical Mook. Boring and garbage. This is something I have been saying for years. It was like everyone else finally decided to wake up.

I think if he took those 5 round for solomon and put em into a solid 3 it would have been okay. I don't know a battle rapper who can keep me entertained for 5 straight rounds. not gonna blame that all on mook, at least he wasn't solomon. I gotta see him battle again to judge properly

naw seriously, mook became a star because he successfully picked a fight with a big name rapper (cassidy) and got a response from cass, and many felt he beat serious jones who at the time was probably the biggest battle rapper out due to him killing jin.

past that, nobody really takes much stock in mook other battles and most felt he lost to lux and millz his other 2 big battles.

again mook style dont translate well and personally i dont think he could survive proving grounds. mook cant stand in front of 3 rounds of lotta zay, nuborn, bigg k, ill will, and survive.

he def wouldnt survive rounds from jc, chilla, b magic, and the other new crop of dudes doing it now.

his best bet is to take another so called vet who style also doesnt translate well to this new era.

first off for the record, lux and serious aint battle the cream of the crop of this generation, they both took some very favorable match ups

and as much as many hate on nuborn, dude showing vs tone montan>>>mook showing vs solomon.


secondly mook was worst than both of them at summer madness. and the argument is not all old battle rappers we just talking about mook so i dont know why you bring lux and serious up like since they did whatever and mook better than he would do whatever. no, mook worst than lux and serious.

Ok, lets say Mook is trash and Lux, Serious, & Millz killed him. Lets say Mook is all hype.

Only 2 of those guys are decent, and none are really that far ahead of stuff from 10 years ago.
