What Does Ricky Rubio Deserve?

I have been watching this dude closely all season and I am just not seeing ANY improvement from him or his game. This is the guy Sota wants to prioritize over Kevin Love (too late now he gonna leave anyhow)? Talk about some horrendous shooting brehs.

I was willing to give kid the benefit of the doubt and watch how he came up this season but he lookin basura.

Ricky Rubio confident he's gonna get it but does this guy really deserve it. People were debating John Wall coming off his injury but look at how he has drastically improved his jumpshot and overall game. The elite PGs of the league with max contracts have demonstrated their deserving. Fukk, you got Stephen Curry out there making prolly WAY less than his production expects but he is more than likely the best point guard in the league right now.

I fear for the Timberwolves future if they really gonna give this guy so much, lose Love, and then get nothing in return.

In a way I kinda understand why they want to keep Rubio over Love. That potential to have impact on both ends is hard to pass up, but this dude cant shoot worth a lick.

it's his only flaw, and one that isn't one that can't be salvaged. If you told me Rubio could score 20 a night but not be as good of a passer or defender, we'd be worse, straight up and down.

He should spend some time trying to improve his jump shot.

It's not like he hasn't. He's not seeing the results. I'm not gonna call his work ethic into question. If anything I wished he spent a summer NOT playing high level basketball. As long as he plays for the Spanish team he's only gonna have so much time to focus on his game alone.

In the meantime, what can be done is play the way he's most comfortable with. Just play PnR.

It's a different regime. All we know about Flip is that he hates Shabazz the way the Coli hates gay defensive ends.

But can we stop worrying about Love? He's not KG. As far as I'm concerned he plays with a different jersey on. Whether we're 46-10 or 10-46 he's getting the hell outta here and the guy who replaces him will just put up big numbers. Who cares?

After Ricky bounces that's the last potentially awesome player they'll ever have. They're not getting another one.
