I rest my case :dead:

What case? :heh: you can call any player with glaring flaws a “losing player” and question why people root for them. Players like George Gervin? Kyle Korver? Peja Stojakovic? Pete Marovich? Steve Francis? Damon Stoudamire? Nate Robinson? Why do theee players have fans because they’re losing players right?
:childplease:

He's just lazy

Based on what exactly?

You don’t start someone for 5 games, see the best production you’ve had at the 5, then bench him again because of “laziness”

Cuz some guys have an allegiance to losers. I've seen Bol Bol play, and he's not a winner. nikkas acting like it's a conspiracy why Bol Bol can't stick.

You're the one who mention Crawford and Lou Will, 2 guys that consistently suck in the playoffs. I call guys like these losing players because they dont do the little things at all. They just wanna put points up.

It's crazy that this got bumped from several years ago, and yet there's still idiots trying to argue the "but maybe" lol
He's an interesting guy offensively but he just can't guard anyone on the court. Too slow for small/fast guys, too weak to guard bigs.

The idea of Bol Bol is more appealing than the reality of him

Your logic would mean that Steve Kerr was also a "losing player" since he was a shooter that didn't "do the little things"?

You're the other side of the toxic "you have to be a shooter" mindset that eliminated great hustle players like Reggie Evens , Tony Allen or Kenneth Faried from the NBA . Are they losing players because of their limited offensive ability? Or is it that you value an all defense no offense type of player over the all offense no defense type of player despite BOTH being limited?

I named way more than Crawford/Lou Will but initially you said you didn't understand why people were fans of certain players and I explained that it was because of HOW they played the game of basketball. It was never the case of "Im not a fan of this player because he has weaknesses"

Maybe he’ll blow up when he’s 40 like his dad

I didn’t know this shyt :mjlol:

Bol's exact birth year is unknown; the birth date listed in his United States immigration forms is October 16, 1962, although Cleveland State basketballhead coach Kevin Mackey claims he chose this date to appease immigration officials.[1][6] Mackey said, "I wanted to make sure he was young enough because he didn't have an age. I think he was [in his 40s], I really do. But there's no way of ever really knowing."[7]Former teammate Jayson Williams believes Bol may have been as old as 55 before he retired in 1995.

ur outta your mind

your comparison makes no sense. Kerr was a guy who played his role well for years. He would guard smaller players, shoot threes when necessary, but he was a ball mover mostly.

Guys like Kerr and Allen stuck to their roles. Thats why they were important pieces on good teams. Allen was important on the celtics and he was a huge part of their culture during the Grit and Grind era of the Grizzlies. Same with Kerr in Arizona, Chicago and San Antonio

Guys like Lou Will and Crawford are the same black hole offensive players that look mostly to score. and they dont even do that efficiently and when the playoffs come, they always play worse. Bol Bol doesn't have the motor to be a winner. This has been his problem since he got in the league, and it hasn't gotten better. There are tons of no-offense guys that arent winning players. Again, to be a winning player, YOU MUST DO THE LITTLE THINGS. U need to have that Caruso/PJ Tucker/Lu Mbah A Moute mindset. Lou Will, Crawford, Bol Bol, etc don't have that mindset, That's why come playoff time, they get rolled every year because they don't have an actual game.

You shouldn't be this pressed over a guy like Bol Bol being out of the league. It was obvious he wasn't gonna last after seeing him in denver. But people think they know more than the head coaches, assistant coaches, player development staff and video guys. He bounced from team to team for a reason

It's really curious to me. Bol at this point in his career has been on multiple organizations under multiple GMs, had various head coaches and teammates and the consensus these cats came up with is everyone else is the issue and not Bol..... maybe Bol just isn't a NBA player?

He‘s an NBA player

He just needs to understand he ain’t a star and get good at a supporting role. It’s a menality change that’s separating him from being an nba rotational player and a Chinese League player.

again, people have an allegiance to losers

Shaq started the discourse, so the dummies with learning disabilities are like "man, why DOESN'T Bol Bol get the same attention as Victor. I mean they ARE practically the same player :jbhmm: "

That's how it all starts. Morons being receptive to the words and arguments made by other morons :manny:

If he was merely bad on defense he'd be a starter cause he's so legit offensively. There's a big difference between bad and unplayable. Again, a mediocre team like the Suns desperate for talent have no use for him

The beef with him has always seemed to be that he has no umph. That was even his problem coming out of college apparently. It was never a question of skill. He just has no motor.

I don't know that to be true or not. I'm not a scout and I haven't really paid much attention to him the last few seasons, so I really don't know. Three motor thing seems to be the general consensus. :yeshrug:

EXACTLY. His mentality has sucked since he stepped foot on an NBA court. You need to have a dirty work mentality ESPECIALLY if you're a role player like Bol Bol is

He doesn't have that mindset, and neither did guys like Crawford and Lou Will

Jeff Van Gundy had a nice quote about his knicks teams. "The might be out-talented, but they were never out-competed"

Bol Bol is almost always out-competed. That's what happens to guys with no motor. There's always someone that will work harder than them
