All of the factors that triggered the last boom are non existent. Booms don't happen for the sake of it.

Get viable competition in the form of a federation/wrestling organization with enough talent and entertainment to make WWE realize that they can't get away with the bullshyt.

That's it. All they need is someone that can LEGITIMATELY challenge their spot on the throne.

They get that? WWE will churn out gold every damn week.

Unique personalities and gimmicks, unscripted natural promos, and a brand split.
Seriously some of the talents have stupid names too

Like back in the day you had Triple H , Undertaker , Mankind

Now you have Bo Dallas , TF is a Bo ?

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

ie, let heels do heel stuff.....fans will boo. It's almost like they don't want heels to get boo'd, they want them to be heel-tweeners.

Fans don't change, so the same psychology that's worked 20 years ago will work now....for the most part.

They just need to make it fun and engaging. But they're so damn coprorate now with the sponsorships and everything that they've backed themselves into a corner.

For one there are no real rivalries. Folks are basically just pretend mad at each other for 2 hours on TV and then going back to either doing selfies, tweeting or snapchatting. Bringing back kayfabe would be a start to bring mystique back which generates interest. The only "rivalry" that feels a bit authentic is Charlotte and Paige.

For the actual television product show. They can start by basing stories around the Wrestlers and less on the evil authority figures. Almost every show it opens with Triple H or Stephanie rambling for 15 minutes,_____Insert Babyface interrupts, Cuts some struggle jokes on Trips and Stephanie and then being interrupted by _______insert heel. They both talk trash and almost square off until they eventually make a predictable ass tag match. Been the same sh*t for years.

Open this show up with a beat down or some sorts.. For example, Have Reigns walking backstage only to being attacked by Del Rio and being thrown through a window or something.

Also use that first hour to showcase the high flyers and up starts so they won't get lost in the shuffle. Thats how Nitro use to do with Mysterio, Ultimo, Malenko, and the crusierweights before bringing in the top dogs like Hogan, Savage, Luger, Sting and others.
Showcase? They let Cena get all the match time so they can brag about him having good matches...when was the last time a guy like Kalisto got 20 minutes? LOL. They used to let Jeff Hardy and Cena work the long matches all the time...Edge, Blandy, Punk, and eventually they depended on Bryan for a lot(working twice a night) and then working Smackdowns that Blandy and Cena wouldn't show up on.

The crowds kinda suck. You watch a show and the crowd isn't into it or there are multiple different reactions you gonna get a garbage show.
Show and the crowd's energy has not been the same since Bryan left television in May. People just don't understand how big of a star that guy was over the last 3 years.

I've got 3 simple points that are simple fixes and would help the product insanely.

How To Fix The E
• Cut Monday Night Raw to 2 hours.
• Jack Lucha Underground's telenovela style segments, putting an end to the floating camera.
• Bring Kayfabe back and that means either Hunter & Steph get off TV or they play the babyface role 24/7.

Any other ideas involve booking, feuds and talent placement and are entirely dependent on how you shape the roster but I think they could blow the scene up by introducing the Bullet Club.

There needs to be solid competition before WWE even thinks about upping their game.

Anyway:
Get rid of the stupid PG-stuff
Stop treating your fans as 6-year olds
If you run a storyline, stick with it (remember that cryme time titleshot for example).
Give the book to Paul Heyman, Tomy Dreamer, Raven and Jake Roberts
Make the titles mean something again

WWE would lose a ton of money going back to 2 hours, that is no longer an option

it's pretty simple actually...i think most agree the serialized TV dramas are on point (walking dead, sopranos, breaking bad, mad men, wire etc)...just need to incorporate what people love about those shows into your product...

for me, take breaking bad.... watching Walt's metamorphorsis from weak babyface push-over to ultimate bad ass take no sh*t heel over the course of five seasons was super compelling...the story archs, the gradual descent... the old school heel turn of hitting the babyface with the chair in the back is way played out and most of us see it coming a mile away....build the suspense...take me on the journey....like in the wire watching how Marlo was coming up and what he did when he was on top... but we still "popped" when Avon showed up in that one scene in prison..the way weebey turned face on his babys mom......perfect blend of nostalgia and slow build character development..tell me these characters motivations... the WWE should be like a game of thrones type of world....where the story progresses and you can't wait to see what happens next week...

and their video production is top notch... this short video on Rusev training before Wrestlemania made me care more about Rusev than any thing i have seen him do in the ring .... if Raw was a combination of a few matches, video production like the one i posted, reality-based breaking ground type segments to show me why i care about the person and acted out telenovela stuff (not as silly or melodramatic as lucha though) to progress the story, there is no doubt Raw can pull in the 4s again
