Crazy plays happen less and less as you go up the ranks because the talent and intelligence gets better... High school football is sloppy and has tons of "crazy classic highlights" less frequently in college and even less in the nfl

that's partially true, but a great catch is a great cathc. And some dudes are simply better than others. Barry SAnders made ppl look foolish in the NFL b/c he was better than them.

Every crazy play is not directly tied to college being amateur.

To me colege football is the perfect mix of supreme talent & great coaching, with just the smallest amount of room for error.
