Bar, you trippin, no one thought anyone would win that division other than New England. They overachieved, true but they were overrated in this convo. Even with Gronk and Aaron, they wouldn't be good enough still. The Patriots were never overrated. They overachieved this year. NO one expected them to win 12 games with the offensive weapons the way they were. The Dolphins were projected to win the division. The Pats played SEA last year IN Seattle and lost by like a point. Damn near staged an incredible come back against the 49ers last year. The Pats problem is that their game plans are based entirely on execution but they don't have anywhere where they just physically overpower you besides with Gronk. O-line was injured and regressed a lot this year and the receiving weapons speak for themselves. The Patriots had arguably the best defense in the AFC through the first 6 weeks and it's the only reason they made the playoffs. I have no idea what Vince will look like, but they need D-linemen and defensive ends. Jones and Ninkovich tired out because they played too many snaps. I think they played around 98% of snaps or something crazy.
With that said, every one of their problems besides WR can be fixed in free agency and the draft.
That's the regular season Bar, the Falcons beat the Packers in the regular season but once the playoffs come, they exposed our weakness which they didn't do during the season. I watched the Pats, I see a ton of weaknesses that Tom hides. I watch Seattle or SF, they don't have many weaknesses. I guess you can say neither QB's hides their team's weaknesses to be a flaw but is it really since both QB's are more than capable performers.
Seattle, Carolina, and SF had injuries but they rarely drop out in play. NE did each time and they lacked depth as well. There's level to this shyt, I don't see ya'll on that level. I think maybe if the Falcons or a team with a weaker defense like the Redskins win the NFC, ya'll have a shot but if it's Carolina, Seattle, or SF. The NFC will win and easily win again. I don't even think you can beat Green Bay in the playoffs either or New Orleans. In the regular season, New England can beat anybody.
as the EC but the EC has two teams that can beat anymore and the AFC has no teams that can beat Carolina, Seattle, and San Fran this year in the playoffs.
An average Baltimore team beat San Fran last year... New Orleans... Carolina???
