I'm surprised Amare's knees have lasted this long anyway. I think this is his first knee-related issue since being in NY, right?

Wasn't Billups' contract expiring but then they picked up his option and then amnestied him?

They had to pick him up they didn't know what would happen with the lockout :whoa: then they saw cp3 getting traded to the lakers and realized they couldnt get him. It is what it is amare just came off a MVP caliber deal can't be worried about amnestying him

Breh let him talk like he clearly doesnt know what hes talking about. Were a better team now that we've amnestied billups and got chandler. His team got rid of half the bench mob and now rose is coming off an injury so I guarantee the Knicks will make more noise.

The knicks will make more noise by default cuz the bulls franchise player is hurt

Amnestying billups and acquiring chandler resulted in a 7 seeded team in '11 getting swept going to a 7 SEED again and losing in 5 again in the 1st round

Bulls have their amnesty and 30+ million comin off the books in the next 2 seasons

Knicks will still have overrated injury prone amare and he'll be making 20+ mil

:lolbron:

Get out the 1st round for the 1st time since clinton was president then talk

True, I wouldn't amnesty Amare even if we still had that option.

But I do think that expiring contracts are overrated, we had Jalen Rose and few others and never did shyt with them.

:yeshrug: just trying to see.

Lord knows that's the only way the Knicks can get rid of him, if necessary...but just wondering what's around for them to trade him.

And I think the days of them trading big picks is over for a while anyway.

:pacspit: we offered y'all dummies Lewis contract who NO already bought out for 10milly and will be off the books next year

Now y'all fukked for years to come being a 7th seed with no cap room

STAT has like $60M an three more years on an uninsured contract. Even the bulls would :laff: @ giving up boozer for him.

:rudy:

No they wouldn't. Boozer is absolute garbage, he has no redeeming qualities.

He put up 15 and 10 last year. Not total :trash: And if worst comes to worst and we can't trade dude, we still sitting on the amnesty provision with that nikka. Meanwhile STAT's knees and eyes are shot. He punched a fire extinguisher, y'all can't amnesty him, and no one will trade for an uninsured contract with the amount of money and years he has left. BTW, dude is terrible in D just like boozer.

You got a point with the uninsured contract. But as a fan who would you rather have on your team?

I was :merchant: when I heard they wouldn't insure his knees but I don't give a fukk if Dolan has to pay out of his pocket I know ticket prices are not going down either way.

Maybe it's just me but I would rather have Amare at 70% than a healthy Boozer. Just looking at that a$$hole healthy and fresh sitting on the bench during 4th quarter makes me sick and I'm a Knick fan.
