It's the flip side of 'mumble rap' and how some rappers who just aren't of your taste or who aren't that complex get classified there unfairly. There are actual mumble rappers out there. Just like there are rappers that go all the way left with just rhyming words.

But more often than not, people who resort to 'lyrical miracle' are doing so to prop up commercial acts and stretchthe definition to include anybody who is more about the poetic aspect of rap.

People will call Pharoah Monch "lyrical miracle'. The first time I heard that term it came from other lyricists making fun of nikkas just using rhyming dictionaries to come up with things to say. It was a much more valid point of criticism when it was coming from THOSE guys and not casuals.
